Peacock Street has three learning spaces within the centre
At Peacock Street Long Day Care, children learn and grow within welcoming spaces designed to support their stage of development.
Each room provides opportunities for exploration, creativity and play while educators support children to build confidence, friendships and a strong sense of belonging.
Our centre includes two learning rooms and a dedicated literacy space.

The Kookaburra Room
The Kookaburra room supports children aged 2–3 years as they grow in confidence, independence and social skills.
Educators create a nurturing and engaging environment where children can explore through play, develop early language and begin forming friendships. Experiences focus on curiosity, movement, creativity and building a strong sense of belonging.
The Lorikeet Room
The Lorikeet room supports children aged 4–5 years as they develop confidence, independence and school readiness skills.
Children participate in play-based learning experiences that encourage problem solving, creativity, communication and cooperation. Educators support children to build strong friendships while developing the skills needed for their transition to school.
Literacy Room
Our Literacy Room provides a calm and engaging space where children can explore books, storytelling, early writing and language experiences.
Through small group learning and hands-on activities, children build confidence with sounds, words and communication in a relaxed learning environment.
School Readiness
At Peacock Street, school readiness is supported through everyday play and learning experiences. Children develop important skills such as independence, communication, problem solving and social confidence.
Our educators support each child to feel prepared and excited as they move towards their transition to school.
